This formulated frozen food is a very special mixture of tiny Zooplankton critters mixed with three types of Phytoplankton, – Spirulina, Tetraselmis. The Zooplankton portion includes Rotifers, Cyclops and Moina. We add a special mix of Vitamins, Amino Acids and Trace Elements. The result is a complete and nutritious diet for all types of live corals (stony corals & soft corals, SPS & LPS) as well as other filter-feeding marine invertebrates.

Because of its comprehensive formulation, this product covers all the bases in feeding the complex reef environments in the hobby today as the food particle size range covers the entire spectrum of specialized requirements for corals and other filter-feeding invertebrates.
At the microscopic end of the spectrum, the phytoplankton, Tetra, and Nanno, are uni-cellular micro-algae with a size range of 5 to 15 microns per cell. These tiny cells move around on their own and “eat up” the nutrients in the environment – phosphates, nitrates, ammonia, silicates, vitamins, trace elements, etc.. They reproduce rapidly and create a green water BLOOM in the laboratory or in greenhouses or outdoor containers and ponds. The algae are harvested at the peak of their bloom and usually filtered or centrifuged down to a concentrated paste.
